A movable wooden room to live in a garage in Barcelona.

The commission included the design and construction of a movable wooden bed box to store their most private belongings, such as their clothes and bed. A massive plywood cube of 2,20m with 4 different facade openings - the low window for having breakfast, the main bed entrance, the wardrobe, and the little shelf-window - will allow the clients to keep their working space clean and tidy, and it will provide the conditions for dividing the garage into different atmospheres by moving and rotating the room.

The room on wheels is capable of affording various conditions of storage and inhabitation while guaranteeing structural stability, ease of construction and affordability: the proposal was built within two weeks, using exclusively hand tools.
